Founded in 2008, a year defined by natural disasters and global warming, the founder of Langfeite, also a fan of electronic vehicles, cherished a fervent desire to do his bit by designing an electric mobility scooter. He, together with three of his friends, started up their business in Shanghai, The birthplace of Langfeite was a small disused factory with cobwebs everywhere. His founders had to trudge through the half-man tall weed, fighting against insects and rough weather in early summer.
The original founders of Langfeite were passionate about their desire to change the world. Early in the morning, shortly after sunrise, the designers gathered in a narrow room to discuss the details of handlebars, the material of the body, and the pattern of the tires. On the hot summer days, there was only a small electric fan for them to drive away from the heat. It was in this difficult environment that they designed Langfeite’s original electric scooter. With a grand vision to beat the heat and change the way people travel, the first generation of electric scooters rushed recklessly into what was then a fledgling market.
It was their aspiration and love that kept them going, and finally, their hard work paid off. This series of electric scooters were a big hit on the market. Buyers in China showed great interest in this novel mode of transportation, and it soon became a niche fashion to travel on the electric scooter, even though they didn’t pay a cent on advertising. Seven years later, the great sale of our first-generation electric mobility scooter propelled us to move to our new factory covering over 10,000 square meters with more than 300 employees. Today in 2021 We have the latest equipment, certified production process, and focused on detail-oriented design. Following the guidance of the Shanghai Spirit, namely, insisting, co-prosperity, and openness, our electric scooters of the second and third generation synthesize greater weight capacity and longer miles per charge together, producing the high-power electric scooters that symbolize our progressive corporate culture.
Over the last ten years, our planet suffered from serious air pollution, together with global warming and more frequent occurrence of natural disasters. Experiencing the growing heat of the Shanghai summer, Langfeite is willing to take on the responsibility of protecting the environment. Unlike companies that form partnerships with environmental groups to make a name for their products, we take real action to protect our environment. Specifically, we take this social responsibility by producing environmentally-friendly vehicles.
An electric scooter is a kind of vehicle that does not consume fossil fuel and can be driven only by Electric energy. That means replacing cars with E-Scooters could reduce fossil fuel consumption by a significant amount. According to the BP China Carbon Calculator, saving a liter of petrol means cutting 2.3kg of carbon dioxide.
